You’ve Got a Friend in Me

I recently went on a family vacation, and when I got home this note was left for me by my sweet friend:

What a nice, heart warming thing to come home to. And now this wonderful friend of mine is embarking on a new adventure. She will be in Australia for 3 months and then moved somewhere else for 3 more months. That is 6 months she will be helping others and sharing her faith on a mission trip. She is the best person I know and she has a heart of gold. If there were more people like her in this world, then it really would be a better place. She sees the best in everyone and she cares about everyone.I know that she is going to positively impact so many people’s lives while she is gone. I couldn’t be more proud of her.

So, to my friend I would like to say this:

When the road looks rough ahead, and your 9,030 miles from your nice warm bed, just remember what your old pal said… Darling, you’ve got a friend in me.
